Karen Bell

Karen has been a Sanibel-Captiva resident for more than 28 years. As one of Southwest Florida’s most experienced Realtors, Karen has been selling high-end island properties for more than 20 years. She is a leading businesswoman in the region, and has become known as a great friend to Sanibel and Captiva.
 
In 2001, Karen opened a real estate company, Karen Bell Realty, on Captiva. In 2003, her company merged with VIP Realty Group on Sanibel, dominating 30 percent of the islands’ real estate market. She was VIP’s director of sales for Captiva and the head of her six-agent “Bell Team.” In 2006, Karen undertook yet another entrepreneurial opportunity. Partnering with jewelry expert Dan Schuyler, she opened Lily & Co. Jewelers on Sanibel. Named after her Labradoodle, Lily & Co. is Sanibel's first jewelry gallery, offering couture jewelry lines and fine art at one location.
 
Her experience on the islands has led her to a position of permanent corporate philanthropist. Karen is an active member of the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation, Community Housing and Resources, and Friends that Care. She also lends her support to Sanibel Beautification, C.R.O.W. and BIG ARTS.
This consummate professional and ambitious philanthropist plans to continue to innovate on Sanibel and Captiva for years to come, while always putting her signature emphasis on customer service, originality and positive energy.
