We are showing our love for our Sanibel Island community with donations to five special causes in February: Sanibel-Captiva Rotary Club’s Arts and Crafts Fair, St. Isabel Church’s Orchid Charity Ball, Sanibel-Captiva Kiwanis Club’s Spaghetti Dinner, Go F.I.S.H. Gala and Community Housing and Resources’ Mardi Gras.
“We are eternally in love with our island community,” said Lily & Co. Owners Dan Schuyler and Karen Bell. “It’s a very special place and we want to be a part of keeping it special.”
The Rotary Club’s long-running Arts and Crafts Fair Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 13-14, will feature 100 artists on the Sanibel Community House grounds. Fair goers will see paintings, sculptures, photography, pottery and more. The 33rd annual fair will also have a silent auction filled with an array of items including a $200 Lily & Co. gift certificate.
The annual St. Isabel’s Charity Ball on Feb. 19 benefits the diocesan assessment and will have a $200 Lily & Co. gift certificate as an auction item. The Sanibel-Captiva Kiwanis Spaghetti Dinner on Saturday, Feb. 27 is an anticipated event with all-you-can-eat pasta, meatballs, Kiwanis’s secret spaghetti sauce, salad, bread and wine or soda. There will be a silent auction including two $100 Lily & Co. gift certificates. The annual dinner raises money for the club’s continuing support of local youth education and recreation programs.
The Go F.I.S.H. Gala will also feature an auction including two $500 Lily & Co. gift certificates. The annual gala supports F.I.S.H. OF SANCAP, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping those in need who live, work or visit the islands. Guests at CHR’s Mardi Gras 2016, held Feb. 6, had the chance to win a $200 gift certificate from Lily & Co. The evening benefited the non-profit organization which provides below market housing to those who live and work on the island.
The lucky gift certificate recipients will experience the casually-elegant atmosphere of Lily & Co. Jewelers, home to more than a dozen renowned designers from across the globe and its own collection of fine jewelry. The Lily & Co. collection is designed and manufactured in house and the Lily Design Center offers restyling of unwearable pieces among other services.
Master Jeweler Nick De Stefano will be there to assist each guest of the Design Center – a great opportunity for personalized consultation with a knowledgeable designer. The friendly, professional Lily team will take guests on a breathtaking trip around the world of fine jewelry, fine art by local artists and fine gift wares.
“Our guests have come to adore the Lily shopping experience,” Bell and Schuyler said. “We look forward to shopping with you.”
